Outreach Ministries

The following ministries are supported by believers who attend Buena Park Christian Fellowship.

Bible Study Fellowship

BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world. (See: https://www.bsfinternational.org/ for more info.)

Chapel on Wheels

Chapel On Wheels, is a ministry to public school children during the school day. The classes are held next to the schools in parked trailers which have been converted into classrooms. This ministry is to instruct children in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and His plan for their life. Children are taught about who God is, about God’s plan of salvation and how He sent His Son, Jesus, to die and take the punishment for our sins, thus providing the way of salvation. Children are instructed in how worship and prayer are vital to build a close personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for each child He sends, that they will open their hearts to the Lord, that they will desire to learn more about Him. Pray their lives will be changed forever as they turn them over to their Savior and make Him Lord and Master of their own lives!

Scripture Text Day

A scripture text outreach has been in place for many years at Buena Park Christian Fellowship. Originally, Scripture texts in many formats were sent to summer gospel outreaches in the Maritime Provinces of Canada.  For the past 20 years, the outreach has been primarily to South Asian language groups settled outside of South Asia. Some texts are used in missionary outreaches in the native lands. The texts are prepared on mat boards with a picture and include a scripture verse in one of 38 languages, and usually an English translation, and then covered by laminate.  Laminated scripture text bookmarks are also prepared and sent out.  Most of the texts are sent out through Messages of God’s Love Multilingual – South Asian Ministry along with other Bible literature.

The scripture text workdays are scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. We have lunch, either potluck or order, clean up and usually done by 2:00 pm.

Titus Two and Tea

In 2008, Linda Osborn wrote a booklet called "Titus Two and Tea" with the desire to help older women encourage younger women. “older women…that they might encourage the younger women…” (Titus 2:3-4)

f you are an “older woman,” can you think of a younger woman whom you would like to mentor? If you are a “younger woman,” can you think of an older woman by whom you would like to be mentored? All you’ll need are two copies of the Titus Two and Tea booklet, a Bible, a pen or pencil, a quiet place to share for about two hours per session and a willing heart.
