Lassen Pines Youth & Family Camp 2018

Abraham, Sarah, and Moses were people who walked by faith–but they lived thousands of years ago!

Some people today wonder if faith is still relevant in our modern world. We believe it is! Faith, as revealed in Hebrews 11, is believing that God will do what He has promised even when human reason says it’s impossible. By faith we accept His gift of salvation, understand His will, endure trials, and prepare for eternity.

Join us at Lassen Pines Christian Camp from Sunday, July 29 Friday, August 3 as we explore the lives of heroes who walked by faith, and learn how to follow their example in our modern world. Don’t forget to invite a friend!

Year-End Bible Conference
Dec
27
to Dec 29

Year-End Bible Conference

  • Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Registration is Now Closed.

The believers who seek to gather unto the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ at Buena Park Christian Fellowship, invite you to join us for our year-end Bible Conference.  This conference will include multiple meetings with various speakers, youth activities, special children’s meetings, wholesome family style meals, and plenty of free time. The facilities feature hotel style accommodations, and refreshing hot springs for all to enjoy. Registration for the time at the Murrieta Hot Springs Conference Center in Murrieta, Calif. starts on Tuesday, December 27 at 5:00 PM, followed by the first meeting commencing at 7:30 PM, and continuing through Thursday, December 29, late afternoon.

We are living in exciting, but challenging times. Our culture today is very similar to that which the Apostle Paul described in the first Century as, “a crooked and perverted generation” (Phil. 2:15). As believers, we have the tremendous privilege of being “blameless, pure, and faultless children of God, [who are] shining as lights in the world” (Phil. 2:14-15).

The reality of the tension of these times has produced an increasing level of spiritual thirst in many human hearts, and attempts to quench this thirst have led, even believers, to abandon “the Fountain of living waters, and dig out for themselves broken cisterns, that hold no water” (Jer. 2:12).

Energy is spent in empty attempts to find refreshment -  but still - the thirst remains - making us further appreciate the words of our Lord Jesus. “If anyone is thirsty, he should come to Me and drink! The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him” (John 7:37-38).

Brethren, please consider joining us, as we come together to study the Word of God and to consider “the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).

Because of the need to provide attendance numbers to the Conference Center for Family Style Meals and Lodging, we would appreciate knowing of your plans to be with us by early December but no later than December 11.  Our desire, as in the past, is to be with others that are committed to being together for all, or most of the time. We look forward to being with you, and encourage you to reach out and invite others as the Lord directs.

With love in our soon coming Savior, we ask for your prayers that this time might be for His excellent glory, and the blessing of all who are there.

About the Theme:
Asia is a wide-open mission field! People who have been closed off to the Good News of Jesus Christ are hungry to hear His Word. People in China, Korea and the Philippines are coming to Christ in record numbers. Other areas of Asia, such as Nepal, Vietnam and Myanmar, face opposition from government and religious authorities but are still responding to the Gospel. Meanwhile, Japan stands as a country completely open to missionaries, in the legal sense, but incredibly closed, dark and needy when it comes to spiritual things. Join us as we hear about the needs, challenges and blessings of those who serve in the great continent of Asia.
